Coromandel International Ltd updates on PA and SA plants at Kakinada

Coromandel International Limited had announced regarding setting up of Phosphoric acid (PA) and Sulphuric acid (SA) plants at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

In line with our earlier indication to commission the PA and SA plants in Quarter 4 of FY 2025-26, the Company has commenced trial production at the new facilities. Operations are currently being stabilised and will be progressively ramped up in a phased manner to achieve the rated capacities of 650 Tonnes Per Day (TPD) for PA and 2,000 TPD for SA. This development marks a significant milestone for the Company's Kakinada unit, transforming it into a fully integrated facility. It enhances overall production capacity of the Company and reduces dependency on imports, thereby strengthening the security of key raw materials required for fertiliser manufacturing.

Shares of Coromandel International Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2023.05 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2067.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 18370 in over 2607 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2090.00 and intraday low of 1994.70. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 37227650.00.
