Project Overview
The contract involves the design and construction of New Rail cum Road Bridge No. 11 over River Ganga, located 50 meters downstream of the existing Malviya Bridge near Kashi Railway Station in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Key features include:
- Substructure and superstructure (8x108.5m + 2x103.3m Open Web Steel Girder).
- Lower deck: Four railway tracks.
- Upper deck: Six-lane road.
Railway and road approaches per GAD, plus associated OHE and general electrical works in Northern Railway's Lucknow Division.
GPT Infraprojects holds a 40% share, equating to ₹480.54 crore, with execution over 1,461 days (approximately 48 months) from the appointed date. This domestic EPC project enhances multimodal connectivity in a key pilgrimage and industrial hub.
