ACME Solar Commissions First Phase of 28 MW of its 100 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned the first phase of its 100 MW wind power project, located in Surendaranagar, Gujarat. The commissioning was witnessed and confirmed by Gujarat Energy Development Agency ("GEDA") and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited ("PGVCL") officials, and the formal certificate is expected to be issued shortly. The current commissioning of 28 MW is part of the 100 MW ACME Eco Clean wind project to be fully commissioned in phases. With this milestone, the Company's total operational capacity has increased from 2,890 MW to 2,918 MW. Strategically located in one of India's highest wind resource regions, it is poised to be an important contribution to India's renewable energy goals.

The Project has been financed through Power Finance Corporation (PFC) & constructed through in-house EPC, deploying SANY's 4 MW turbines. The clean energy harnessed through the project is pooled at 33/ 220 kV pooling station and stepped up for evacuation to Shapar sub-station using a dedicated single circuit 220 kV transmission line. The project would share the sub-station with ACME Solar's already commissioned 50 MW wind power project.

The power generated from the project will be sold through the 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Eco Clean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 276.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 280.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 65930 in over 2368 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 281.60 and intraday low of 275.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 18244474.00.
