Shanmuga Hospital Ltd shuts Shanmuga clinic at Ayothiapattinam, Salem

Shanmuga Hospital Limited has discontinued operations of its Shanmuga clinic unit situated at GF, 116/1/4, Railway Station Street, Annai Kusthooriba Marriage Hall Parking, Ayothiapattinam, Salem, Tamil Nadu, 636103 with effect from 30th September 2025.

The said unit was operating in a leased premises. As the lessor has proposed to utilise the property for his own plans, both parties have mutually agreed to terminate the lease before its original expiry.

The Company will continue to serve patients and carry out its operations at the main hospital. We wish to clarify that the closure of this clinic unit will not have any material impact on the overall operations or financial performance of the Company, as the unit contributed only a minimal portion of the revenue.

This decision is expected to enhance operational efficiency and reduce fixed overhead costs, thereby strengthening the Company's focus on its core hospital services.

Shares of Shanmuga Hospital Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 45.51 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 46.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 16000 in over 8 trades.
