BHEL receives KAVACH order from Indian Railways

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has received an order from Indian Railways (South Western Railway). The Letter of Intent received on 11.09.2025 is for Design, development, supply, installation, trial and commissioning of On-board KAVACH equipment in locomotives and trackside KAVACH equipment at station/LC/IB/ABS locations along with associated works in South Western Railway.

The order value is Rs. 22.87 Cr. incl. GST.

Kavach Equipments are to be manufactured at BHEL's Bengaluru plant.

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 228.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 219.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5545617 in over 25764 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 229.95 and intraday low of 219.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1260345419.00.
