JSW Energy Commissions 317 MW RE Capacity in August, Installed Capacity Stands at 13.1 GW

JSW Energy Limited ("The Company") is pleased to announce that it has commissioned renewable energy ("RE") capacity of 317 MW during the month of August 2025, taking the installed capacity to 13,097 MW.

The capacity addition is well-diversified across generation sources with Hydro (Kutehr) comprising of 240 MW, wind at 43 MW and solar at 34 MW. Share of renewables in the overall capacity increases to 57% constituting of wind capacity at 3,617 MW, solar capacity at 2,192 MW and hydro capacity at 1,631 MW.

This capacity addition is timely in nature and will enable the Company to benefit from the peak renewable generation season during the year and will contribute meaningfully to overall renewable output.

JSW Energy has total locked-in generation capacity of 30.3 GW comprising of 13.1 GW operational, 12.7 GW under-construction across thermal and renewable and has pipeline of 4.6 GW. The company also has 29.4 GWh of locked-in energy storage capacity through hydro pumped storage projects of 26.4 GWh and battery energy storage system of 3.0 GWh. The Company aims to reach 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030 and achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2050.

Shares of JSW Energy Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 521.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 518.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 125489 in over 2111 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 529.25 and intraday low of 516.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 65816160.00.
