BHEL accepts LOI from MB Power Madhya Pradesh Ltd

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has accepted a Letter of Intent (LOI) from MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) Limited for supply of equipment (Boiler, Turbine, Generator) for 1x800 MW Anuppur Thermal Power project based on supercritical technology at ANUPPUR, Madhya Pradesh. Contract Agreement in this regard will be entered into shortly.

Boiler and Turbine Generator are to be manufactured at BHEL's Trichy and Haridwar plants respectively.

The contract value is approx. 2600 Cr. excl. GST.

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 216.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 215.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 153260 in over 2323 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 217.30 and intraday low of 214.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 33099103.00.
