Centum Electronics Limited ("Centum") has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Electronics Limited ("BEL"), a leading defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
This MoU establishes a framework for strategic collaboration between Centum and BEL across defence electronics domains, with a focus on areas such as:
- Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
- Radar systems
- Secure Military Communication systems
The purpose of this MoU is to leverage the complementary strengths of both organisations in design, development, and manufacturing of advanced defence electronics solutions for the Indian Armed Forces and allied markets.
At present, the MoU represents a broad strategic intent, and does not have any immediate financial impact. As and when specific business opportunities emerge and material contracts are executed under this MoU, the Company will make further disclosures.
