Century Plyboards Board to acquire Plywood related products company

Century Plyboards India Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on October 30, 2006, inter alia, to consider and take on record the unaudited financial results of the Company for the 2nd Quarter ended September 30, 2006.

Further the Company has informed that, the Board will also consider and discuss a proposal to acquire controlling interest in a Company engaged in manufacture of Plywood related products, in the said meeting.
