BHEL receives order from Mirzapur Thermal Energy UP Pvt Ltd

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received an order from Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited for 2x800 MW thermal power project at Mirzapur Phase I, Uttar Pradesh.

The Contract Agreements signed on 5th June 2024 for Supply of equipment (Boiler, Turbine, Generator) and Supervision of Erection & Commissioning for 2x800 MW power project based on Supercritical Technology at Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh.

Boiler and Turbine Generator are to be manufactured at BHEL's Trichy and Haridwar plants respectively.

The contract value is greater than INR 3500 Cr. excl. GST.

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 255.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 246.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3912212 in over 42638 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 258.25 and intraday low of 225.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 944870599.00.
