DCM Shriram Ltd commissions Caustic Soda Expansion Project

DCM Shriram Ltd has commissioned its Caustic Soda Expansion Project of 850 TPD at its Chemical complex in Jhagadia, Bharuch Dist. Gujarat on May 3, 2024 10:00 am, taking the total installed capacity to 2225 TPD at Bharuch and the overall annual Caustic Soda capacity at both Bharuch and Kota locations to 1 million metric tonnes. With this project commissioning, Bharuch complex will be the single largest caustic soda complex in the country and thereby driving economies of scale.

Shares of DCM Shriram Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 967.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 962.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3400 in over 542 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 977.50 and intraday low of 946.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3275357.00.
