Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd commissions expanded capacity at Karnataka Plant

Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited have commenced commercial production from today on the increased capacity at its Karnataka plant. After the increase the capacity now stands at 140 lakh cases of beer per annum from the 90.00 lakhs capacity installed earlier.

With this strategic initiative, the company will be able to cater to increased demand from Karnataka as well as meet the requirements of the neighbouring states like Kerala, Pondicherry etc.

Shares of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 315.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 307.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 181517 in over 5208 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 321.00 and intraday low of 303.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 57100463.00.
