NHPC arm lays foundation stone for 1200 MW Jalaun Ultra Renewable Energy Power Park

Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for 1,200 MW Jalaun Ultra Renewable Energy Power Park located in Orai and Madhogarh Tehsil of District Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh through virtual mode on 04th March, 2024. The Solar park will be developed by Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (a subsidiary company of NHPC Limited) with an investment of Rs.796.96 crore, subject to investment approval. The park is proposed to be constructed in 24 months from the investment approval and will generate about 2,400 MUs electricity every year.

Shares of NHPC Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 92.39 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 89.13. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14389318 in over 50107 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 93.00 and intraday low of 88.26. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1314403037.00.
