Merck Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006:
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 189.784 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 where as the same at Rs 225.349 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income (net of excise) is Rs 865.810 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 1108.083 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
The sale of Life Science & Analytics Business excluding Bulk Drugs business has been effective April 01, 2006, therefore the figures for the previous quarter / nine months are not comparable.
