Ingersoll Rand announces 30% interim dividend, net profit of Rs.14.74 Crores

Ingersoll Rand India Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 147.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 53.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 1088.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 1684.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

The Board of Directors of the Company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 3/- per share (30%) for the financial year ending on March 31, 2007.

Further the Company has informed that, November 06, 2006 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend. The interim dividend will be paid on November 20, 2006.
