EID Parry Board approves merger of Parry Nutraceuticals Ltd

EID Parry India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 19, 2006, inter alia, has approved, (Subject to the approval of the shareholders and the High Court of Judicature at Madras) Amalgamation of Parry Nutraceuticals Ltd (PNL), a 100% unlisted Subsidiary of the Company with the Company with effect from September 01, 2006 (being the Appointed Date).

Since PNL is a 100% Subsidiary of the Company, no shares will be issued by the Company as consideration for the amalgamation.
