Asian Paints Ltd recommends final dividend of Rs. 21.25

The Board of Directors of Asian Paints Ltd at their meeting held today have, recommended payment of final dividend of Rs. 21.25 per equity share of the face value of Re. 1 each for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing 77th Annual General Meeting of the Company. The Company has fixed Friday, 9th June, 2023 as the Record Date for determining entitlement of members to final dividend for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023. The dividend, if approved by the shareholders will be paid on or after Friday, 30th June, 2023.

The total dividend for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023, aggregates to Rs. 25.65 (Rupees twenty-five and paise sixty-five only) per equity share of the face value of Re. 1 (Rupee one) each (dividend payout ratio of 60%), including the interim dividend of Rs. 4.40 (Rupees four and paise forty only) per equity share as approved by the Board of Directors at their meeting held on 20th October, 2022, which was paid thereafter.

Shares of Asian Paints Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 3035.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 3018.70. The total number of shares traded during the day was 24016 in over 2646 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 3074.00 and intraday low of 3005.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 73254273.00.
