Fire Accident at V-Mart Retail Ltd's store at Kanpur

V-Mart Retail Limited has announced that a fire accident took place at one of the Company's store located at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, January 16, 2023.

There was no loss or injury to human life. However, this has resulted in damage of inventory, fixed assets, cash and others in the store, thereby disrupting the operations of the aforementioned store.

The Company has adequate insurance coverage and have already informed the Insurance Company about the incident. The Company is in process of ascertaining the actual loss caused due to the fire.

Shares of V-Mart Retail Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2807.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2837.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1270 in over 540 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2840.85 and intraday low of 2780.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 3559920.00.
