BSE and NSE approve HDFC, HDFC Bank merger

BSE and NSE vide their letters dated December 13, 2022, granted their in-principle approval for the transfer of non-convertible debentures issued by HDFC Limited to HDFC Bank, in terms of Regulation 59 of the Listing Regulations, subject to sanctioning of the Scheme by the National Company Law Tribunal.

The Scheme remains subject to various statutory and regulatory approvals, as may be required.

Shares of HDFC Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1648.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1643.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2513494 in over 5848 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1657.35 and intraday low of 1645.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4146631056.00.

Shares of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2700.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2684.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 580335 in over 1677 trades.
