Dhunseri Tea & Industries Ltd acquires tea estates fo Rs. 109 crore

Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited has entered into Memorandum of Understanding on 5th December, 2022 with Apeejay Tea Limited for acquisition of the following two tea estates located in Tinsukia District in the State of Assam for a total consideration of Rs. 109.00 crore.

Budlabeta Tea Estate and Hapjan Tea Estate, unit of Apeejay Tea Limited located in Tinsukia District in the State of Assam has a grant area of 1491 Hectares and 1485 Hectares respectively.

Shares of Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 218.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 220.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 666 in over 70 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 220.35 and intraday low of 217.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 145491.00.
