BEL signs MoU with HSL

Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has signed an MoU with Defence PSU Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) to carry out joint development, manufacturing and product upgrades of identified products / systems and to capitalise on the emerging opportunities in the domestic Defence, nonDefence and Export markets.

Hindustan Shipyard Ltd is a premier shipbuilding organisation under the Ministry of Defence catering to the needs of shipbuilding, ship repairs, submarine construction and refits as well as design and construction of offshore and onshore structures. In the year of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, HSL has earned the rare distinction of completing construction of 200 vessels and repairs of 2,000 ships, since the launch of its first ship, Jala Usha, in 1948.

Shares of Bharat Electronics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 108.30 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 107.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1497780 in over 12573 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 109.80 and intraday low of 107.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 162783978.00.
