Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited (NSE: EMMVEE; BSE: 544608), one of India's premier integrated solar cell and module manufacturers, today released its official press statement regarding its standalone and consolidated financial performance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27) ended June 30, 2026.

The company delivered its strongest opening quarter on record, driven by skyrocketing production volumes, deeper strategic integration of internally manufactured solar cells, and powerful operating leverage across its expanded manufacturing hub in Karnataka.

Key Financial Performance Metrics

Emmvee's shift toward high-margin integrated operations significantly outpaced its revenue expansion, yielding explosive bottom-line growth:

Revenue from Operations: Crossed a monumental milestones, reaching ₹1,555.5 crore, representing a robust 51% year-on-year increase against the ₹1,027.8 crore booked in Q1 FY26.

EBITDA Performance: Surged 56% YoY to ₹548.1 crore from ₹350.5 crore in the year-ago period. Enhanced efficiency expanded the EBITDA margin to an all-time high of 35.2% (up 114 bps YoY).

Profit After Tax (PAT): More than doubled, escalating 103% YoY to ₹380.3 crore compared to ₹187.7 crore in Q1 FY26. The PAT margin hit a record 24.2%, capturing a massive 618 bps improvement from the base quarter.

Record-Breaking Production & Operational Metrics

Operational volumes hit new peaks during the quarter, showcasing a rapid ramp-up in manufacturing capability:

Solar Module Output: Clocked 970 MW, jumping 53% YoY from 635 MW in Q1 FY26.

Solar Cell Production: Scaled up 26% YoY to 454 MW compared to 360 MW.

Capacity Utilisation: High internal solar cell consumption pushed effective solar cell capacity utilization to a record 83% (vs. 68% in Q1 FY26). Effective module utilization hovered at 45%, signaling immense structural headroom to support upcoming seasonal volume spikes.

Current Infrastructure: Total installed annual capacity stands at 10.3 GW for solar modules and 2.94 GW for high-efficiency TOPCon solar cells.

Order Book Reaches All-Time High of 9.9 GW

Emmvee logged stellar client traction during the quarter, securing fresh order inflows of 1,484 MW (1.48 GW). This takes the total order book to an all-time high of approximately 9.9 GW, offering visible revenue stability for consecutive fiscal quarters.

The company's commercial portfolio remains optimally balanced across prominent Independent Power Producers (IPPs) alongside Commercial and Industrial (C&I) clients. Notably, the repeat customer rate scaled up to 57% during Q1 FY27.

ALMM Regulatory Windfalls:

Emmvee is prominently positioned within the freshly implemented Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List II (effective June 2026). This framework mandates domestically manufactured cells across core Indian solar installations, acting as a massive tailwind for Emmvee's fully Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant clean energy solutions.

Forward Horizon: Massive 6 GW Integrated Expansion Track

Progress on the company's next-generation 6 GW integrated TOPCon cell and module facility is tracking precisely on schedule:

Module Line: Set to be commissioned by December 2026.

Cell Line: Slated for commissioning by March 2027.

Upon full commissioning by early FY28, Emmvee's combined capacity will jump to approximately 16.3 GW for modules and 8.9 GW for cells. Long-lead equipment orders representing 60% of the project's hard costs are secured, and construction is rapidly advancing. Additionally, the company is evaluating further backward integration into a two-phase 9 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing facility.

Shares of Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 337.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 333.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 75009 in over 1863 trades.
