The Board of directors of The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited had considered and noted the amendment to Environmental Clearance (EC) accorded by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change ('MOEFCC') Government of India for the change in plant configuration and product mix for the Company's plant situated at Hanumanahalli Village, Hosapete Taluk, Vijayanagara District, Karnataka and accorded in-principle approval for taking up the projects mentioned therein which includes DI pipe project.
The Board has at its 360th meeting held on 10 November 2022 considered the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for DI pipe and has envisaged a capital outlay of around INR 2,200 crore for the said project and approved meeting the financing requirements through internal accruals and borrowings.
Shares of SANDUR MANGANESE & IRON ORES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 738.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 768.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 17432 in over 1262 trades.
