Sheroo celebrates 32nd Birth Anniversary of Nicco Parks

Nicco Park, India's premier Theme Amusement Park, which has brought joy and memories to generations of visitors through an array of children's & family thrill rides, attractions and experiences, celebrates its 32nd Birth Anniversary on October 13, 2022.

Speaking on this happy occasion, Dr. Soumitra Mohan, IAS, Secretary Tourism-Government of West Bengal and Chairman of the company, stated that "This birthday is a great opportunity for us to look back and celebrate the park's long and wonderful history. Furthermore, he said that, we are eagerly looking forward to the Park's bright future with the upcoming addition of two Exciting new thrill rides in the water park, to be opened for all in early March2023, prior to the peak summer of 2023. Dr. Mohan also mentioned that he is confident that Nicco Park would become Eastern India's leading 'Entertainment Destination' in the tourism sector of the State in near future."

Mr. Abhijit Dutta, Managing Director & CEO remarked that it is a matter of immense pride for him to be associated with Nicco Park since its inception. He also added that, Nicco Park today, is an iconic part of the tourism industry of West Bengal. Being a 'Joint Sector Company' with the GoWB, it has been possible to successfully operate and deliver consistent growth of Nicco Park with the unstinted support & cooperation, received, as always, from the GoWB dignitaries/officials & departments. Mr. Dutta added that since its inception, 32 years ago, Nicco Park has received over 36 million visitors and we are excited to be able to celebrate this major milestone with a grand celebration.

To flag-off the celebrations, our mascot, Sheroo, cut a huge Birthday Cake in presence of Dr. Soumitra Mohan, IAS and Mr. Abhijit Dutta and then Dr. Mohan, unveiled, for our visitors, our newest attraction - 'Nicco Park Globe'. All the visitors were also treated with a slice of the delicious cake and a sapling each was also handed over to the families of the visitors, in our endeavor to take ahead our commitment for a green & clean environment.

To commemorate the 'Birth Anniversary' of the park a special promotional scheme of 'buy one ticket & get one ticket free" will be available for all our patrons/visitors for the entire month of October, 2022.

Shares of NICCO PARKS & RESORTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 114.20 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 112.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3913 in over 69 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 115.00 and intraday low of 108.35. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 444707.00.
