Compucom Software to set up wind power plant in Karnataka, school project in Chandigarh

Compucom Software Ltd has announced about the following:

1. The Company has placed an order to set up a Wind Power Plant in the state of Karnataka, which is likely to be commissioned in the current financial year with a total capital outlay of approx Rs 4 crores, in addition to the already existing 4 wind power plants (in Rajasthan).

2. Also, the school education project of the Company, in Chandigarh, has been given an extension up to March 31, 2007 by the Directors Public Instruction, Chandigarh Administration. This project was initially started in 2001 for a period 5 years, till September 30, 2006. But based on the performance of the Company the project has been extended till March 31, 2007.
