Customers can now remit their GST through Karur Vysya Bank

Customers of Karur Vysya Bank can now remit their GST payments through the Bank. KVB has been authorized as one of the Banks that can accept GST remittances.

GST payments can be made through the Internet Banking facility of KVB as well as over the counter modes.

KVB is already an authorized bank for collection of taxes. The Bank is already authorized to receive customs duty payments online through ICEGATE.

Shri B Ramesh Babu, MD & CEO of the Bank said "Enabling payment of GST through KVB fulfils a long standing requirement of our customers. This will enable the bank to further its acquisition drive for current accounts and significantly strengthen the CASA balances".

Shares of Karur Vysya Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 63.90 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 63.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 705703 in over 2726 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 65.30 and intraday low of 63.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 45332154.00.
