HDFC to acquire balance stake in HDFC Venture Capital Limited

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) holds 80.50% of the paid-up equity share capital of HDFC Venture Capital Limited (HVCL), a subsidiary of the Corporation and the remaining shares are held by State Bank of India (SBI). The Corporation has on July 29, 2022 entered into a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with SBI for acquisition of 97,500 equity shares of HVCL representing 19.50% of its paid-up share equity capital, at a consideration of Rs. 10 per share.

Shares of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2379.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2336.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 50371 in over 5068 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2393.90 and intraday low of 2341.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 119209832.00.
