Q1 FY2022-23 Business Update of Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd

During the quarter ended June 30, 2022, the profit on sale of investments was ₹ 184 crore (Previous Year: ₹ 263 crore). This was on account of the Corporation's 10% stake sale in HDFC Capital Advisors Limited.

Gross income from dividend for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 was ₹ 687 crore (PY: ₹ 16 crore).

Loans assigned: During the quarter ended June 30, 2022, pursuant to the buyback option embedded in the home loan arrangement between the Corporation and HDFC Bank, the Corporation assigned loans to HDFC Bank amounting to ₹ 9,533 crore compared to ₹ 5,489 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Individual loans sold in the preceding 12 months amounted to ₹ 32,499 crore (PY: ₹ 23,093 crore).

All the figures are subject to limited review by the statutory auditors of the Corporation.

Shares of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2210.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2163.55. The total number of shares traded during the day was 67293 in over 4693 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2221.00 and intraday low of 2133.45. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 146859583.00.
