Balasore Alloys Extends Financial Year

Balasore Alloys Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company has passed a Circular Resolution dated September 25, 2006 in terms of the provisions of Sec.210(4) of the Companies Act, 1956 for extension of "Financial year" by three months so as to end the same on December 31, 2006 and that the extended Financial year of the Company shall be for a period of Fifteen months covering the period from October 01, 2005 to December 31, 2006 and simultaneously for extension of time for holding the Annual General Meeting of the Company in terms of provisions of Sec.166 of the Companies Act, 1956 on or before March 31, 2007, subject to the requisite approval of the concerned Registrar of Companies.
