Mumbai's Dabbawalas join UMEED 1000 Cyclothon

RBL Bank, one of India's leading private sector banks, teamed up with the city's pride, Mumbai Dabbawalas, to cycle for a noble cause - Inclusive education - and enable a bright future for the marginalised communities. Under its flagship CSR initiative UMEED 1000 Cyclothon, 25 dabbawalas cycled alongside RBL Bank cyclists, to promote Education for All.

To help communities cope with the challenges facing education during Covid-19, Udbhav RBL School supported by RBL Bank, is providing access to quality education to children from underprivileged communities. The Bank also plans to adopt a new school for children with special needs under the Udbhav RBL School franchise, in Nallasopara, Maharashtra.
