Mr. Rahul Yenurkar joins Welspun Corp Ltd as COO of Steel vertical

Further to the announcement of company's decision to create two separate vertical viz. steel and pipes, Welspun Corp Ltd has announced the joining of Mr. Rahul Yenurkar as Chief Operating Officer of the Steel vertical of the Company effective 4th August, 2021.

Mr. Yenurkar will be based out of Anjar facilities of the Company and will lead setting-up of company's Greenfield Steel and DI Pipe Plant. He will report to the Managing Director & CEO of the Company.

He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Gulbarga University and MBA in Human Resources Management from Mumbai. He is a seasoned professional, having more than three decades of work experience with reputed organizations in steel sector at various leading positions. He has considerable experience both for projects and operations, and has played a pivotal role in growth of all the organizations he has served.

Shares of Welspun Corp Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 134.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 133.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 295453 in over 4066 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 137.25 and intraday low of 133.2. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 40037626.
