Century Plyboards India Ltd commissions new veneer unit at Gabon

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd. has announced that the newly set-up veneer manufacturing unit of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary Century Gabon SUARL at Gabon in Africa, has successfully started its commercial production today, i.e. 8th February, 2021.

The unit has an operating capacity of peeling 200 cubic meters of timber per day and would be initially manufacturing face veneer and core veneer.

Shares of CENTURY PLYBOARDS (I) LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.274.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 271. The total number of shares traded during the day was 20716 in over 589 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 275.25 and intraday low of 271.7. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5669108.
