Shantivijay Jewels increases share capital, to issue shares

Shantivijay Jewels Ltd has announced that the members at the 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 23, 2006, inter alia, have approved the increase in Authorised share capital of the Company from 3,50,00,00/- to Rs 6,00,00,000/- by creation of new 25,00,000 Equity Share of Rs 10/- each and the increased Authorised Share Capital be and is hereby divided into 60,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10/- each and consequential amendment in Memorandum and Article of Association of the Company.

To issue further shares not exceeding 29.98 lakhs equity shares of Rs 10/- each u/s 81(1A) of the Companies Act, 1956.
