Sharp Sight Centre Indirapuram Launches Home Based Eye Care Facility

With the aim to make eye care more accessible Sharp Sight Centre Indirapuram on the occasion of their third anniversary has announced the launch of its "basic eye care at your doorstep" services.

While speaking on the occasion Dr Kamal B. Kapur Founder Director Sharp Sight Centre said, "Since we are living in the Internet-driven age where everything is just a click away, we thought nothing could be better than taking hospital at people's doorsteps. Most importantly because seeking appointment and undergoing eye check-up at a hospital gets really stressful for almost everyone.

In Ophthalmology, about 70 per cent of the procedures can be performed in OPD only and barely 30 per cent require surgical intervention. "Basically, most of our patients are elderly people therefore; our home based eye care service aims to provide them one to one attention and special care they deserve in the comfort of their homes. Also, because most of our equipments are handheld so reaching out to our patients' at their home is much easier," he added.

Through this service they also aim to educate people about various refractive problems, Cataract, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, etc. "Definitely, we aim not just to treat our patients but also want to make them aware about various other eye problems that may affect their sight due to some negligence or ignorance,"concluded Dr Sameer Sud Founder Director Sharp Sight Centre.
