HOEC Board approves rights issue

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Ltd (HOEC) has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 20, 2007, inter alia, has approved a Rights Issue of the Company for an amount not exceeding Indian Rupee 6150 million in such ratio and at such rate as may be fixed by the Board on the recommendation of the Rights Issue & Allotment Committee, appointed by the Board, for the purpose of administering the said Rights Issue.
