Aurobindo receives approval from USFDA for Amlodipine Besylate Tablets

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd has announced that the Company has received approval from the USFDA for Amlodipine Besylate Tablets 2.5 mg, 5 mg & 10 mg. This is the Company's fifth anti-hypertensive approval from USFDA.

Amlodipine Besylate Tablets 2.5 mg, 5 mg & 10 mg are the Generic equivalent of Pfizer's Norvasc® Tablets and are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. The brand product has approximately annual sales of USD 2.8 billion.

The stock was trading at Rs.716. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.722.80 and low of Rs.713.05. The total traded quantity was 7271 compared to 2 week average of 43126.
