Shree Cement Ltd Quarterly net profit at Rs.1169.13 Million, up by 29.35% YOY

Shree Cement Ltd has announced the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs.1169.13 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs.903.85 Million during quarter ended June 30, 2006.Total Income for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 was at Rs.4384.61 million compared to Rs.3124.08 million during quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Depreciation for the year ended March 31, 2007 includes additional amount of Rs 1994.650 million being the differential amount of depreciation on Plant & Machinery of Unit II to align the book WDV and IT WDV of the said assets.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.33.66 for the Quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs.25.94 during Quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1440, down by Rs.12.05 or 0.83%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1474.60 and low of Rs.1412. The total traded quantity was 12579 compared to 2 week average of 6620.
