Bihar Caustic & Chemicals Ltd Quarterly net profit drops marginally to Rs.65.83 Million

Bihar Caustic & Chemicals Ltd has announced the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs.65.83 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs.71.04 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs.325.57 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs.359.7 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.2.81 for quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.3.04 for quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.58.60, up by Rs.0.35 or 0.60%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.59.70 and low of Rs.58. The total traded quantity was 43094 compared to 2 week average of 40307.
