Jain Irrigation fixes Record Date for Merger

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd has announced that July 20, 2007 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of issue and allotment of Equity Shares of the Company to those Shareholders of Eurissko Agro Ltd (unlisted) whose name appear in the Register of Members of Eurissko Agro Ltd as per the exchange ratio in the Scheme of Amalgamation approved by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay vide order dated May 04, 2007.

- 2 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each fully paid up of Transferee Company (Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd) for every 49 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each fully paid up of the Transferor Company (Eurissko Agro Ltd).

The stock was trading at Rs.512.20, up by Rs.7.40 or 1.47%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.515 and low of Rs.506.20. The total traded quantity was 8664 compared to 2 week average of 111754.
