Parekh Aluminex Ltd net profit almost doubles to Rs.57.87 Million

Parekh Aluminex Ltd has announced the Un-Audited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs.57.87 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs.29.06 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs.317.37 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs.625.73 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.8.27 in Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.5.38 during Quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.197, down by Rs.3.15 or 1.57%. The total traded quantity was 40446 compared to 2 week average of 64839. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.202.95 and low of Rs.195.
