Fortis Healthcare Ltd allots 1000 Equity Shares under the "Employee Stock Option Plan 2007"

The Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Fortis Healthcare Ltd has approved allotment of 1,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each, to a grantee, upon exercise of vested stock options, under the "Employee Stock Option Plan 2007" of the Company.

Consequent to the said allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 4,628,847,940/- divided into 462,884,794 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each.

Shares of FORTIS HEALTHCARE LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.155.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 153.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 152446 in over 2792 trades.
