IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd redeems Preference Shares

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd had redeemed 50 Lakhs 6% Optionally Convertible Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 100 each amounting to Rs. 50 Crores and 3 Lakhs 6% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 100 each amounting to Rs. 3 Crores on March 23, 2015 as per the terms of the issue, as amended.

Accordingly, the Preference Share Capital of the Company has decreased from Rs.2,498,578,000 to Rs. 1,968,578,000 comprising of 19,685,780 Preference Shares of Rs. 100 each fully paid up.

Shares of IL&FS ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.85.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 78.8. The total number of shares traded during the day was 95157 in over 2390 trades.
