Project Management Institute (PMI) India, the world's leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession, invites nominations for 'PMI India Awards for Academicians'. This award is to felicitate academicians for their extraordinary contribution in the field of Project Management. The total prize money to be won is Rs. 17 lakhs across three award categories and nominations close on 30th November 2014.
The three categories are PMI India Distinguished Fellow Award, PMI India Distinguished Scholar Award and PMI India Young Research Scholar Award.
A total of six academicians, one from the Distinguished Fellow category, two from the Distinguished Scholar category and three from the Young Research Scholar category will be awarded.
The Distinguished Fellow category award is nominated by PMI India Academic Advisory Group (AAG) Board Members, Former AAG Board Members and former award winners.
Academicians can nominate themselves for the other category awards.
The PMI India Awards for Academicians are the most prestigious, one-of-its-kind awards in India that recognize teachers and professors in the project management discipline. The academicians get acknowledged for their outstanding contributions that have made an impact in establishing the role and significance of project management education in India.
Academicians can mail their nominations to academic.awards@pmi-india.org till 30th November 2014.
