ACC Production increases to 1.82 million tonnes in May 2007

ACC Ltd has announced the Company's production and dispatch figures for the month of May 2007. The company's Cement production in May 2007 stood at 1.82 million tonnes compared to the Cement despatches of 1.82 million tonnes.

The Cement production was 1.57 million tonnes for May 2006, whereas Cement despatches were at 1.53 million tonnes during the same time.

The Cumulative Cement production figures for January - May 2007 was 8.51 million tonnes compared to Cement despatches of 8.50 million tonnes.

The cumulative Cement production during January - May 2006 was at 8.15 million tonnes and Cement despatches were 8.12 million tonnes during the sametime.

The stock closed the day at Rs.836.95, down by Rs.15.05 or 1.77%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.861.80 and low of Rs.835. The total traded quantity was 73290 compared to 2 week average of 166285.
