Educomp Solutions receives order from Gujarat Government

Educomp Solutions Ltd has announced that the Company has been awarded a letter of intent (LOI) issued by Gujarat Informatics Ltd (GIL) on behalf of the Govt. of Gujarat for the provisioning of Computer Aided Learning services in 2819 Schools, in the State Of Gujarat. The total size of the order is Rs 71.64 crores (USD 17.47 million) spread over a period of 3 years.

After signing of this LOI, total Number of schools covered under ICT segment by the Company now stands at 5627 in comparison to 2808 schools as on March 2007.

The stock closed the day at Rs.1875.80, up by Rs.99.25 or 5.59%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.1900 and low of Rs.1780. The total traded quantity was 145073 compared to 2 week average of 226256.
