Idea Cellular clarifies on news item regarding stake sale

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled, "Telekom Malaysia eyes Idea stake", Idea Cellular Ltd has clarified that, in this regard the Company at this moment does not wish to comment on the news item which are speculative in nature.

However, the Company reconfirm that the story appeared in the news item is speculative and factually incorrect.

The stock was trading at Rs.125.40, down by Rs.0.70 or 0.56%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.128.60 and low of Rs.125.35. The total traded quantity was 1077637 compared to 2 week average of 3235376.
