Usha International Board to consider amalgamation

Usha International Ltd has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on June 08, 2007, to consider the proposed Scheme of amalgamation between the Company, Shriram Fuel Injection Industries Ltd and The Jay Engineering Works Ltd.

The stock closed the day at Rs.471, down by Rs.23.55 or 4.76%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.491.65 and low of Rs.471. The total traded quantity was 1544 compared to 2 week average of 3530.
