Biocon and SWAT join hands to fight against tobacco products

Biocon Ltd has announced that the Company in association with Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT), on May 31, 2007 assembled at M.G. Road to mark World Anti Tobacco Day and called on Bangaloreans to refrain from using tobacco products and to quit smoking through a unique campaign - 'Pat At The Back'. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness and sensitize people about the harmful effects of tobacco.

The stock was trading at Rs.476.60, down by Rs.4.10 or 0.85%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.489.90 and low of Rs.476. The total traded quantity was 16938 compared to 2 week average of 77044.
