Brakes Auto India Ltd has announced that a meeting was held at the august office of the Special Secretary, Commerce and Industries, Govt. of West Bengal, Kolkata at the invitation of the officials.
The Company has further informed that it is one of the leading Companies in the country established in 1976 manufacturing Brake Systems including Brake Drums, Hubs, Clutch housing, Gear Box Housing Propeller Crank Shaft, Cam Shaft, Axle Shaft, Universal Joint Crosses, and other casting and forgings doly machined for Light and Heavy commercial Vehicles. The Company intends to launch a new Unit in an Industrial belt in Kolkata worth 67 crores for which the government has been requested for the allotment of suitable land with the basic infrastructure and the Special Secretary is kind enough to accept to the Company's request.
The Company is all set to undertake the Project at Kolkata once the necessary sanctions / allotment of land is done by the Govt. authorities.
The stock was trading at Rs.13.03, up by Rs.0.06 or 0.46%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.13.49 and low of Rs.13. The total traded quantity was 1000 compared to 2 week average of 2280.
