Sonata Software JV TUI InfoTec appoints Jens Habler as Head of Sales

Sonata Software Ltd has announced that TUI InfoTec, a Joint Venture between the Company and the TUI Group of Germany, recently hired Jens Habler as Head of Sales. Jens brings with him 20 years of rich experience in the IT industry in setting up sales structures, commercial operations, increasing market presence and customer relationship management. In his last stint, he was Vice President Sales at Lufthansa Systems Infratec GmbH.

This move is the beginning of TUI InfoTec's thrust into the external European market. The Company will leverage on Jens' experience in changing the revenue mix to favour business from external customers.

The management team of TUI InfoTec has been expanded with the induction of P Srikar Reddy, EVP and COO of the Company. In addition to his current role at Sonata, Srikar will be Managing Director of TUI InfoTec along with Heinz Kreuzer (chairman) and Michael Ohm who are the other two members of the Board of Managing Directors of TUI InfoTec. Vivek Desai, Vice President of the Company will be Director - Marketing, Account Management and Alliances.

The stock was trading at Rs.65.95, up by Rs.3.10 or 4.93%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.65.95 and low of Rs.64.50. The total traded quantity was 163232 compared to 2 week average of 82165.
